Without a branch network, MBNA has to have a digital focus. The recent Credit Cards dashboard from Mapa Research, looking at the developments in card providers’ digital propositions, showed MBNA as strong in this area.

In the last quarter, the credit card arm of Bank of America has switched up its digital offering, redesigning the MBNA Card Services app and desktop site, and adding a host of new functionality for users and customers.

Overall, the app has been redesigned to be more aesthetically pleasing and easier to use and navigate. The speed and loading times for the app have also improved significantly.
