AXA PPP continue to improve online offering

New cancer centre and microsite providing additional support to cancer patients

27 November 2009 | Insurance |

At the end of June this year AXA PPP Healthcare re-launched their public website, this month Mapa researchers have noted further improvements to their online offering.

In October AXA PPP announced that they had introduced a Dedicated Nurse helpline for individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer, this is being supported with a new microsite which has short videos of nurses talking about their own knowledge and experience, and what the Dedicated Nurses service is. The Medical Health section of the website has been updated in line with this new service and now includes a Cancer Centre which patients or their families can refer to for information or support. The Cancer centre is split into the following sections; Communicating about cancer, Guide to Cancer, Cancer fact sheets, Nutritional guide, Food tips for poor appetites and Questions and answers.

In total, over 30 changes were recorded in November’s update of Mapa’s bimonthly Private Medical Insurance Competitor Intelligence Dashboard.
