Senior product or client manager

Key responsibilities include:

Responsibility for the delivery and quality of the following products:

  • Dashboards subscriptions (multiple clients and products)
  • Reports (various campaigns throughout the year) This will include carrying out research and report writing particularly in the early stages. You will be responsible for leading the presentation and delivery to clients.
  • Responsible for the production of marketing collateral (brochures, email and web content) for the above products. Part of this is new product development.

Responsible for a team of 5 consultants and their day-today schedules (you will be supported by the director of consultancy) and external suppliers / contractors.

Responsible for managing coaching and appraising the team of consultants. And where necessary the recruitment of new staff.

Responsible for the renewals of dashboard subscriptions and thus the account management around this

About the role:

You will report directly to the MD and two other directors. This is a role that we expect to provide more strategic guidance than day-to-day man-management. As a result, the salary is competitive. You will have the day-to-day support of the director of consultancy, also.

You will support the MD in the new sales and promotion of the above products via email, social media, and introductory meetings including handling any inbound leads. You will be required to write proposals and follow up on them.

You will have clients across the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands and Belgium. As a result, you can expect to travel every 7-8 weeks and, when up to speed, you will be communicating with clients on a day-to-day basis. A large part of your role is account management and thus the renewal of our dashboard subscriptions and sale of reports.

As this is a senior role you will be required to actively contribute to bi-weekly sales and operations meetings and present back performance on a quarterly basis.

Desired Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone who wants to make a real difference in a small company. Significant online or retail financial services experience is essential. Your ability to get things done must be evident in your previous posts. A natural manager is preferred. Marketing experience would also be a differentiator.

The salary depends on experiences, but ranges from £40,000 - £50,000 plus a bonus and an iPhone (or a similar smart phone)
